When selecting your Coach or Mentor it is important to understand the level of training and experience each individual has.

The IRCM recognises that there are four levels of organisations involved within the Coaching and Mentoring Industries — three of which represent the Coaches, Mentors, and Training Organisations.

Accreditation Organisations, with official approval, verify both the quality and standards of courses run by Training Organisations and of the Coaches and/or Mentors who work with these skills, by measuring the organisation or individual against recognised standards. Professional and Trade Organisations verify both the quality and standards of courses run by Training Organisations and of the Coaches and/or Mentors who work with these skills, by measuring the organisation or individual against the standards set by the Professional/Trade Organisation.

Coaches and Mentors are trained by Universities, Colleges, and Training Organisations. As you select your Coach or Mentor, this list of APPROVED organisations gives you the opportunity to verify the quality of your selected Coaches or Mentors skills through their own personal accreditation/credential with an Accreditation Organisation or a Professional/Trade Organisation; and by understanding whether the training organisation has an independently verified course with an Accreditation Organisation or a Professional/Trade Organisation.

Ask yourself. Does the Accreditation Organisation, Professional/Trade Organisation or University, College, or Training Organisation have an IRCM stamp of APPROVAL? Has the organisation gone through the approval process to provide you with an independent representation of their organisation to the buying public without any bias?
